Stop copying Apple! : Chinese phone maker Doogee tells companies
For startups and top phone makers who’d like to take a clue from Apple’s iconic iPhone design in their next product, Chinese OEM Doogee says you should stop. Quit copying Apple and diversify!, the Valencia Y100 Pro manufacturer hit out at phone producers in an e-mail sent to media last week.
“Since the birth of iPhone 6/6 Plus, curved edge design has been a fashion and followed by almost every manufacturer… Designs should be diversified.” — Doogee.
Furthermore, Doogee says consumers should watch out for the company’s upcoming F5 smartphone, saying the handset will arrive with a 5.5″ FHD display, 3GB of RAM, LTE, 3000mAh battery, 64-bit chipset, and should cost less than $150.
