The upcoming Meizu ME1 dazzles in new renders
We carried a news some days ago of an upcoming device that has been marked as the Meizu ME1 and we also informed you that if this device really launches with this name, it would be the official ancestor of every other phone to come in the Meizu E family. Also, we informed you that some invites had been sent out by Meizu for an event slated for the 10th of August which we have every reason to believe would include the launch of this device. However, before that date, our smartphone friend has decided to pose for the cameras once again.
Looking at the images, you can’t but notice that the front of the device is nearly a doppelganger to one popular smartphone maker’s but then, that is not surprising. The new renders are much like the first one which leaked important specs such as the 5.5 inches of screen at 1080p and a 3GB of RAM kicking under the hood. It runs on the Flyme OS 5.2.1 which has in turn been built on the Android Lollipop, although we would have loved to see some Marshmallow magic here.
The two leaks are very alike but then again, look like slightly different devices. Would Meizu be launching two smartphones in the E series on 10th August?
