The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 sells more than 1.75 million units in India
We have always said that one of the biggest, if not the biggest, smartphone market is that in India and this should not be a surprise. With a population that runs into the billions, how would you get a product into such a market and expect not to make a good profit off of it?
That is the same for smartphones and a new record from the management of Xiaomi has shown that this is purely the best place for any OEM to make it and make it big.
Although the Chinese manufacturer are still trying to find their bearing in the US markets, they have grown with a massive rate in India instead and are enjoying a very great success rate here too.
To further compound this result, the company has a device which goes by the name of Redmi Note 3 in that market and even though it was just launched less than half a year ago in this region, it had gone on to record amazing sales of 1.75 million in India alone. Further statistics shows that in the second quarter of the year 2016, the Redmi Note 3 devices were so successful that they accounted for one in every nine phone sales in the country. For any given quarter, this phone is the most shipped phone in India.
