Three New Alcatel Devices Leak Ahead of Official Launch
Alcatel seems to have suffered a minor setback as at least three of its upcoming smartphones have surfaced online ahead of their official launch at the IFA 2017 event.
The tech company, coming less than two weeks to the official launch of some of its flagship devices was revealed to be planning some major eye-catching smartphones for the market.
The three devices which leaked online include the Alcatel A3 Plus which comes in two variants.
The A3 Plus variants are distinguished by the support for the 3G and 4G networks individually and comes packing a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720p.
The device is expected to come into the market cheap and packs a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear panel of the device for the 3G variant and a front mounted fingerprint scanner for the 4G variant of the device.
The second device which surfaced online is the Alcatel A7 XL which comes packing a 6-inch HD display with a screen resolution pegged at 720p and a 2.5D glass coating for protection. Under the hood is a dual camera setup on the rear panel consisting of a 12MP and 2MP camera.
Another which surfaced along with others is the Alcatel U5 HD whose specs remain largely unknown save for the 5-inch HD display and the possible Android OS 7 Nougat OS.
