Tizen-powered Samsung Z1 to debut in India on December 10
Information coming from industry sources this morning suggests that Samsung’s alleged affordable Tizen phone which is expected to be launched in India first, will break cover officially as the Samsung Z1.
Price of the smartphone is said to be below $100 (INR 6,200) and the device is expected to land on December 10th. Samsung has scheduled a press conference on the said date, confirming the legibility of the story.
Since it’s an entry-level 3G-enabled device running on a new operating system (Tizen), specs of the Samsung Z1 isn’t going to break charts with it’s 4-inch 480p display, 512MB RAM, a dual-core 1.2GHz Spreadtrum processor, a 3.2MP camera and a VGA front-facing selfie unit.
The Z1 seems to be the same Samsung SM-Z130H that was spotted on Samsung’s UA profile website not long ago. Since December 10 is less than ten days from now, we’ll keep you up to date with all the details about the Samsung Z1.
