Unannounced Samsung phone in India hints at possible new Galaxy lineup
Samsung is always on the look out for new beginnings since the company’s fortunes started falling rapidly this year. The company is reportedly in talks about firing it’s chief executive of the mobile unit with three heirs already presented for the throne.
A yet-to-be-announced device from the Korean company was found on India’s import/export-tracking website, Zauba.com. Registered as a Samsung SM-E500F, the phone’s model naming which contains the letter “E” suggests a new series totally different from what Samsung has been making.
No specifications or other details were listed alongside the device but the agency tagged the SM-E500F’s price as INR 9,378 — roughly $151 using the current exchange rates.
BestMobs tried to reach a Samsung spokesperson in India who is familiar with the company’s plans but the representative refused to speak in reference to the device.
