Upcoming Meizu smartphone shows up on AnTuTu, specs leak.
An upcoming device from Meizu got tested on the benchmark by AnTuTu and so far so good, we are thinking that this would be a flagship device. Identified simply on the benchmark as Meizu_m96, the smartphone is running on Samsung’s latest Exynos processor –the 8890 chipset – and is coming with a massive 4GB of RAM under the hood too. These alone are enough to make the inference that it is a top of the shelf device.
From the AnTuTu benchmark, we have other specs revealed such as the fact that the smartphone would carry 12MP camera on the rear and 5MP shooter up front while also keeping for itself 32GB of internal storage space. Running the Android Marshmallow 6.0, the device is rumoured to be either the Meizu Pro 7 or a variant to the Pro 6.
We are advising that we take these suggested naming with a pinch of salt because this would not be the first time that Meizu has come out to totally surprise us with the name of an upcoming device, the most recent being the case of the Meizu M3E recently launched which we had earlier thought would be an E series.
