Vivo X5 Max S with 4,150mAh battery clears certification
Last year’s Vivo X5 Max dropped as the thinnest smartphone at the time, sporting a 4.75 mm slender body, however, the Chinese company behind the phone has received a lot of complaints/suggestions to up the phone’s battery capacity — which at 2,300mAh, suffered the sleekness of the design.
And here we are, the Vivo X5 Max S: the rumored Vivo X5 Max model with 4,150mAh battery. The smartphone just got approved by China’s TEENA and is definitely heading to the market in a few weeks time.
Though the battery capacity wasn’t listed on the certification web page, other things like the screen which is a 5.5″ 1080p IPS glass was mentioned. The CPU on the phone remained a Snapdragon 615 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory under the hood.
Paying the cost of a larger battery, the X5 Max S measures 7.29 mm thin (still pretty much slim), 2.54 mm thicker than the original X5 Max. The upcoming phone also has a 13-megapixel camera and 5MP front-facer.
