A small company that has humiliated the likes of Samsung and Apple in China can do it elsewhere, Xiaomi dreams. The privately-owned Chinese company has made known of it’s plans to bolster it’s already surging phone sales in India in a short time.
CEO Hugo Barra said he expects his company to be selling at least 100,000 smartphones weekly starting from next month. He also hinted the gone-in-a-while Xiaomi Mi 3 will soon be back during the festive season.
“For the Diwali month we’re chartering planes from Hong Kong to India to bring in Mi 3 and Redmi phones because it’s too much product[sic],” The billionaire CEO said.
