‘Windows Phone is more secure than iPhones and Androids’
Eugene Kaspersky is the CEO of Kaspersky Lab, an international software security group operating in almost 200 countries and territories worldwide; headquartered in Moscow, Russia and with its holding company registered in the United Kingdom.
The security expert has cited Microsoft’s mobile operating system as less likely venerable to attacks than other popular mobile platforms. Speaking at a conference held in Australia, Kaspersky noted that WP OS is “so far very clean” unlike Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS with “millions of brutal attacks.”
“The most dangerous scenario is with iPhones,” CEO Eugene explained in a statement.
“It is less probable because it is very difficult to develop malware for iPhones, because the operating system is closed to outside programmers. But every system has a vulnerability. If it happens—in the worst-case scenario, if millions of the devices are infected—there is no antivirus, because antivirus companies do not have any rights to develop true end-point security for Apple.”
