Xiaomi is the most “complained about” brand in China
Xiaomi has been hitting the sales numbers real big, and that’s how big the amount of complaints about their products go. China News Service has released details on the top 10 brands with the largest number of complaints received in the year of 2013.
Topping the list is low-cost smartphone maker, Xiaomi, with 993 complaints (about 12% of the total complaints) followed closely by Apple, who account for 805 complaints while Samsung comes third at 621.
Other names that complete the list includes Meizu, Huawei, ZTE, HTC, Nokia, Lenovo and Motorola.
Xiaomi sold 18.7 million smartphones in 2013, a year where they expected to sell just 15 million units. With the help of the $130-priced Red Rice and the insanely low-priced Redmi Note, the company will be going places this year.
