Xiaomi Mi 4 FD-LTE 4G edition for China launched at $326
Last time we heart about Xiaomi in China, it was about the Chinese phone maker becoming the highest smartphone vendor in the country after beating out the likes of Samsung, Apple and fellow popular local brands Lenovo and Huawei.
The private-owned company is back in the news, this time it’s strengthening it’s position as king of the market by introducing a 4G-enabled version of it’s flagship, the Xiaomi Mi 4.
Keep in mind the “3G-only” version of the phone actually has 4G, but those LTE bands are not supported by China Mobile’s TD-LTE networks, a purpose the 4G version has come to serve.
The new Xiaomi Mi 4 LTE comes with a $326 price tag inside China, and plans to introduce yet another edition that will support China Unicom’s FD-LTE frequencies are underway.
