Xiaomi Mi Note 2 finally launched, pricing, specsheet and other features revealed
We have been hearing about it for days, we have leaked it for months and in what seems to be like one fell swoop, we have finally been able to lay our eyes on that which we have been expecting from the stables of Xiaomi. For those that have been following this news portal and this particular topic for a while now, there is no doubt that you would be able to say the name of this one by heart now but for those that are still a little bit sceptical, we are here to give you the full rundown of what the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 carries.
If you have been a fan of the Note 7 before it was recalled due to the issue of explosions, you need not worry because it seems that the Chinese company has foreseen the future and created this one to fill the void left by the Galaxy. We have been leaking the device and there has been a lot of rumours to but having now launched officially, what are we looking at here?
First, the Mi Note 2 is a production master class with a 5.7 inch of screen that is curved on both sides and as well, extends the curvature well into the back of the device. The front panel is truly a flexible one and not just a play on our intelligences and going under this fascinating top, you would be met with a QUALCOMM snapdragon 821 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM that has 128GB internal storage space to itself. There is, however, a variant that carries a 4GB/64GB pairing instead.
Furthermore, it would have been anyone’s guess that Xiaomi would opt to complete the kind of killer specs here by opting to go for the dual camera setup on the back but instead, they have approached Sony for a single 22.56MP camera unit which comes with autofocus and is paired to an 8MP selfie shooter up front.
The entire rundown is not complete if we have not mentioned the massive 4070mAh battery that is made to supply the juice to the device and the actual fact that it would also have a QuickCharge 3.0 support.
As regards pricing, the base model of 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM would sell for CNY 2799 ($415) while the much bigger 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM version would sell for CNY 3299 ($485) in China and CNY 3499 ($520) elsewhere.
