If you are looking looking to upgrade your dear Xiaomi Redmi Note, or you were simply looking out for the next generation before you hop into the bandwagon, this news will likely make your day.
According to Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, a new Note phone is expected on the 29th of this month. As we all know, the sequel to the first Redmi Note had been in the rumor mills for some time now and with the look of things, there’s little possibility that it’s not going to be the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 that will be launched on that day.
In terms of what to expect, we are hearing that the Redmi Note 2 is packing a 1080p display, with the physical screen size expected to remain at 5.5 inches diagonal. The handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset alongside 2GB of RAM. The camera department will have a 13MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera sensors.
