Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro may be launched at a November 24 event
The soon to be announced Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro smartphone whose leaks and rumours have surfaced numerous times online may be in the works of the unveiling as the company released teaser image online on the company’s Weibo account signalling November 24.
The Chinese written teaser which translates to “Grand Finale” was followed by a launch date but nothing was mentioned about the smartphone, the launch is however scheduled for Beijing National Convention Centre.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro as spotted some days back on the Chinese Certification authority website TENAA is expected to feature some key specs under the hood such as the MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 processor under a 5.5-inch Full-HD display with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity. The smartphone features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera running on an Android 5.0 Lollipop powered by a 3,060 mAh battery. Deduction from the several photo leaks online, the smartphone is expected to feature a LED flash and fingerprint sensor on the back and also indicated that the rear portion of the device may be metallic.
This has not been the first time Xiaomi has released teasers which have not led to an actual launch and other speculation hint that the smartphone company may altogether launch the Xiaomi Mi 5 smartphone instead.
