Xiaomi’s MIUI 7 now rolling out to Mi 4, Mi 3, Redmi 2, Redmi Note and Redmi 1S
Xiaomi has been in the works for a while now, performing various tricks, opening various ports and doing a lot of customization on the custom Android based operating system package, the MIUI 7, which is aimed at revolutionizing the User Interface on its Xiaomi devices. The efforts of Xiaomi towards the building of this software has paid off and according to them, customers can now start to expect it.
Announced to be ready for launch yesterday, over the air updates have already started to roll out to users using the select phones that Xiaomi has promised support for on the MIUI 7 platform. If you’re a Xiaomi user and you would like to know whether or not you get the MIUI 7 with this first rollout, Xiaomi is yet to release the official list of devices that would be supported but if you use one of the beta handsets models, your device should be in for a spin.
With improved features such as a wider variety of cool themes to choose from, Child Mode and a better overall performance, the MIUI 7 is what you want to get for your Xiaomi handset.
