ZTE commences rollout of the stalled Nougat update to Zenfone 3 units
Sometimes in the opening days of this year, ZTE started to rollout the Nougat update to their Zenfone 3 units and along the line, they had to stop this update due to the occurrence of some bugs that they failed to squash before the initial let-go. Now, though, it seems that everything is back to normal and the bugs have been fixed since the OEM has commenced another set of rollout to the units. This means that if you are proud owner of the supported Zenfone 3 unit, you should be expecting your own bump to the big 7 soon too.
This update is rolling out to models that have mode numbers of ZE552KL and ZE520KL, and it brings other changes on bard too. Some of the important things that have been included in this update is a new notification toggle option, improvement on the touch functionality and also, does away with the ASUS Share Link.
Before starting the update, make sure you have some 1.5GB of space free on your unit, and this should warn you to connect to a Wi-Fi network first too.
