The ZTE Nubia Z7 is a sick beast, and it’s cheap too
If you find yourself out there in the market shopping for a high end smartphone with midrange pricing, the Android-powered ZTE Nubia Z7, with its top-of-the-line specs, could be all yours for cheap.
The Nubia Z7 is ZTE’s flagship that was released towards the end of 2014. Sporting a 5.5-inch gigantic display that has 1440p resolution, the phone’s touchscreen blasts through a PPI of 538 — a figure only a few 2015 flagships like the LG G4 can boast about.
Powering the handset is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset coupled with a 2.5GHz quad-core CPU, one of the California-based chipmaker’s best processors in recent times. Nubia Z7 also comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of in-built storage.
For snapping pictures, the smartphone is equipped by a powerful 13-megapixel auto focus camera, complete with optical image stabilization, dual tone LED flash and 4K res video recording ability. On the front side lies a 5-megapixel snapper, adequate for taking quality selfie photographs even in low light scenes. The device measures 153.2 x 75.7 x 8.9 mm and gets powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
The ZTE Nubia Z7 was released with a $550 price tag back in September last year but we noticed Gearbest, the Chinese e-retailer, is offering the smartphone at the lowest price you could find — at $299.99. We do not know how long the product will stay at that price but the development makes so much sense, frankly speaking.
