Since the launch of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus last year’s September, there’s been a number of phones impersonating of the Apple smartphones. One Chinese outfit (Goophone) couldn’t hold it back enough as it released a clone of the iPhone 6 even before Apple officially unveiled the original phone.
The Lenovo ‘Sisley’ S90 is one of these phones with confused personalities. Sporting in a stylish metal unibody, one will easily mistake this phone for an iPhone 6 but on a closer inspection, you’ll easily find out that this cheap impostor is running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS instead of iOS8.
Lenovo might have being so shameless here but hey, they are not the first copycats, after all HTC alleges that the iPhone 6 design was blatantly ripped off from the HTC One (M8) and this looks true to some extent. However, we are not here to discuss about Apple and HTC, let’s talk about this iPhone 6 clone we’ve got in hand.
Today, Lenovo launched the S90 in India. The suggested retail price (SRP) for the device was set at INR 19,900 ($322) — about half the price of an Apple iPhone 6. For specs, the S90 carries a 5″ HD Super AMOLED screen and 1GB RAM unlike its Apple contemporary with a smaller 4.7″ HD display. The Lenovo phone comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor and 13MP/8MP back/front camera duo.
There’s 32GB of storage which unlike Lenovo and more like Apple, does not support extension via memory cards. The smartphone also supports 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, NFC and an FM radio, all powered by a 2,300 battery unit.
