If you hold a survey and ask around from people what the latest smartphone to launch in the market is, there is very sure to be a large number of people that would tell you that it is the HP elite x3 and rightly so, the device has now been launched in the US and is available for sales and preorders also.
Even though the number of customers that the Windows Mobile OS has is a very few among the sea of smartphone loves out there today, this has not stopped companies from wanting to make the offerings to customers, and Alcatel is looking to join the race soon too with an Alcatel Idol 4 Pro which might just be the competition that HP needs on their own flagship.
When it comes to specifications, the Idol 4 is promising to be a really bad boy by having a QUALCOMM snapdragon chipset which would have an operational frequency of 2.1GHz. Using quad cores, the device would make use of 4GB of RAM and have 64GB internal storage space which can be expanded as the user sees fit. On the back is a 21MP camera and there is the possibility that this one also supports Continuum, being a high end Windows 10 device.
We don’t know anything on battery yet, but we do know that it carries 5.5 inches of screen.
