Alleged Samsung Galaxy On smartphones get Wi-Fi Alliance certification

Samsung is reportedly working on two new smartphones that would be launched in the Galaxy On series and these ones have recently showed up getting Wi-Fi certification badges to their names. Both devices would be having a model number of SM-G5510 and SM-G5520 respectively and they have both paid a successful visit to Wi-Fi Alliance.

As you would have expected, we won’t be able to get any specs of the smartphones via Wi-Fi Alliance’s database but with the recent sighting of the SM-G5510 model on a benchmark test, we have some of the specs to pay around with for now. From GFXBench, we know that the smartphone would have 4.8 inches of screen, pack a chipset from QUALCOMM snapdragon and use a CPU that is clocked at an operational frequency of 1.4GHz.

The memory unit and RAM specifications have been coupled in such a way that it would have 2GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 16GB. The media needs would not be complete without a camera configuration and that is why we have seen 12MP behind and 5MP up front.

For now, as much as we would like to give you information on the SM-G5520, there is nothing yet but we expect that the next set of days should turn this around.
