A new statistics report from comScore has revealed that the Android operating system lost a little balance in the United States. Google’s open source mobile OS, Android had a 0.8 change in the red for the quarter 3 of 2013.
However the open source operating system still managed to grip firmly to 51.6% of the US mobile market share, followed by Apple at 40.7% while Blackberry, Windows Phone and Symbian came third, fourth and fifth at 4.0%, 3.2% and 0.3 percent respectively.
Google was the most visited site on mobile phones in the United States for the quarter, with 92.2% of mobile Internet users having visited a Google website at least once during the quarter. This was followed by Facebook, Yahoo, Amazon and AOL.
