This gained our attention to create this post as not just one but it seems that many users reportedly experiencing this Apple software problem, the Apple Music’s search feature was reportedly down for several subscribers leaving much of its service unreasonable to use.
Typing into the search field in the iOS interface currently shows either no results, or a list in which tapping a result returns an empty screen, according to complaints seen on Twitter, Apple’s support forums, and directly by AppleInsider. The problem can’t be fixed by force-quitting the Music app or even doing a device reset.
The mentioned issue appears to have occurred overnight, with no sign of how or when it will be resolved. So without this search feature, it becomes impossible for any users who are experiencing the problem to find a specific artist, album, or song, forcing users just to listen to radio or its existing collections.
The current nature of this situation suggests that it is a glitch from Apple Music servers. Although Apple’s official System Status page does not mention any problems and difficulties.
As what we published last week, Safari was on the hot seat by crashes linked to its browser’s search suggestion feature, but the issue was ultimately solved on Apple’s end.
