Apple has true to its words pulled back the covers on the next generation smartphone, iPhone X, which is clearly the most coveted device in the line of smartphones the tech company launched yesterday.
Recall that the iPhone X came into full view along with the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus device.
As for the design and specs, the iPhone X comes as a celebration of the company’s 10th year Anniversary and therefore marks itself as the first AMOLED display smartphone produced by the company.
The iPhone X comes to market with a 5.8-inch display and a pixel density clocked at 458ppi making it the sharpest iPhone ever made.
The device comes sporting a rather bezel-less display with the top front panel playing host to several sensors including the camera, earpiece and others. The iPhone X comes with the FaceID security option as a replacement for the TouchID which means there is no fingerprint scanner on the device.
The iPhone X is powered by an A11 chipset which packs 6 cores comprising of two powerful cores and four energy-efficient ones.
For the optics, it comes bearing a dual camera setup (12MP sensors) on the back panel and will be available for pre-orders as from October 27.
The iPhone X which comes in memory option of 64GB to 256GB onboard storage variant will arrive in the Silver and Space Grey color variants.
