iPhone app developers made a fortune during Black Friday

Consumers in the United States of America spent close to 80 million dollars during Black Friday on 23rd November 2018.

Although people who use Android smartphones doled out as much as $23 million buying games and apps from the Google Play Store this last Black Friday, their spending dwarfs in comparison to Apple user’s $52 million burnout on Apple App Store/iTunes that same day. This was only for users in the United States of America.

When the global market was put in pureview, Sensor Tower, an analytics outfit based in San Francisco, CA, noted that users spent $117.3 million on the Apple App Store outside the United States on that day.

On a similar note, Adobe estimates that $2.1 billion were sold in smartphones on this year’s Black Friday.

  1. Thank you, I’ve just been looking for info about this topic for ages and yours is the greatest I’ve discovered till now. But, what about the conclusion? Are you sure about the source?

  2. Yesterday, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive a thirty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!
