Asus known as one of the tech giants in the world, this Taiwan based smartphone manufacture introduces ZenFone series last year, and we know that it have gain popularity around the globe.

In addition to the information, Asus ZenFone managed to ship more than 20 million phones last 2015, the sales data shows a significant improvement as compared to shipping data last 2014, when they only sell 8.5 million units.

But for this year, Asus recently said to increase its goal to sell 30 million smartphones this 2016, this statements leads us to think that they already prepared their solid plan and now ready to execute it to reach its goal. But the final decision leads to lower the original 30 million down to 25 million.

They lowered their sales goal, because of the vast increase in its market competition from other OEMs specifically in China, Africa, Brazil, Russia and Southeast Asia.

Asus introduced its first ZenFone 2 last year during the Consumer Electronics Show, and consumers now expecting to release ZenFone 3 last January. Well, it did not happen, and seems like Asus will not move to ZenFone 3 this Mobile World Congress. The chances are low for the company to reveal ZeonFone 3, and may be this will happen around October this year. But those were just rumors and not confirmed, but we’ll see.
