Coming weeks after the official leak and then launch of the entire Asus ZenFone series which comprises of six smartphones, the tech company’s Asus ZenFone Max has witnessed a price cut.
The ZenFone Max which comes into the market with a model number of ZC550KL was announced by the Taiwanese tech giant to have witnessed a price cut and will thus sell for a discounted price.
Asus revealed that the ZenFone Max will witness a price cut of Rs. 1,000 which will bring the smartphone’s price down from the original offer price pegged at Rs. 8,999.
The price reduction will also cut across major e-commerce websites to include Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal and others.
For a quick recap of the specs, the ZenFone Max comes into the market with a 5.5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels.
Under the hood, the device is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and an onboard storage space of 16GB which can further be expanded to as much as 64GB using a microSD card.
The ZenFone Max comes packing a 13 MP rear camera and on the front panel, a 5MP camera unit all powered by a whopping 5,000mAh battery.
