Mobile carrier AT&T has just announced that starting from 6th November, the BlackBerry Priv Flagship device which has been much awaited due to its incorporation of the Android OS in a BlackBerry phone, the first of its kind from Blackberry will be available on sale. The mobile carrier was excited to announce that it’ll be the first US carrier to sell the Blackberry Priv Smartphone. AT&T says the device will be available in stores and retail outlets online and nationwide and will cost $249.99 with a new two-year contract.
It is important to note that the Blackberry Priv runs an Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with a 5.4-inch QHD touchscreen on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC, other features of the flagship smartphone device is the 18MP front facing camera with the Schneider-Kreuznach optics, possessing the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) feature, dual-tone LED flash for lighting, 2MP front facing selfie camera running 3GB of RAM and a 32GB of expandable in-built storage memory size all powered by the presence of a 3,410 mAh battery.
The slider phone whose specs have been teased out over the months is finally set to hit the market and is expected to make as much as 5 million copies sale or it might be the last smartphone from the company altogether.
