Sending money from other BBM is not that new for some. And in fact, way back 2013; this feature was tested out by BlackBerry in Indonesia with Money feature from BBM.
And last year the company teamed up with the well known payment processor Paypal, in which user can send money via BBM in which the transaction will be facilitated with PayPal, and just recently it clearly looks like BBM has new partner in this process.
BlackBerry just announced to team up with Barclays and Pingit app in order to facilitate mobile payments through BBM platform. Given the idea that Barclays is located in UK, it is very obvious that this mobile payment feature will be limited to United Kingdom users as of, but as we said, there are other alternatives of paying via mobile if you’re not from UK.
BBM becomes a secure platform for most consumers and brands for them to exchange files, photos, and stickers. And this time the exchange money feature was an extension. But this feature will is open to users with Bank account in UK and probably useful for businessman.
