BlackBerry Jakarta gets pictured, specs in tow

BlackBerry Jakarta, this new BB 10.2 device we told you about some time has finally been revealed (not officially).

Along with the press shots a couple of the phone’s specification managed to be squeezed in. The BlackBerry Jakarta is  full touchscreen smartphone, as the picture depicts. We were told it’s a 5-inch touchscreen with a 540 x 960 pixels resolution.

Powering the device is a 1.2GHz CPU, 1.5GB RAM and 2650mAh battery. The smartphone features a 5-megapixel camera on the back while there’s a 1.1-megapixel shooter on the front side.

BlackBerry has been in troubled waters recently. They are looking to reverse the turnout of things and BlackBerry Jakarta may be their Saviour, considering the device will be outsourced at Foxconn, guaranteeing a competitive retail pricing.
