BlackBerry does not seem to be relenting in pushing its new device, the BlackBerry KeyOne smartphone which was for the most part rumored to be the BlackBerry Mercury out into the open as the tech company has pushed the Bronze edition of the device into the Chinese market.
The push comes following the CES 2018 event wherein the company officially introduced a Bronze edition of the KeyOne device.
Hands-on wise, the Bronze edition of the device was reported to be coming to the EU, Middle East, and Asia.
In line with the promise, Blackberry has announced the start of pre-orders for the new color option on its Weibo page.
The Bronze edition however comes sporting some difference compared to the all-Black and Silver variants.
Although the Bronze edition comes sporting the ususal hardware including a 4.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a 3:2 ratio, a QWERTY keyboard and other design, under the hood, the Bronze edition comes sporting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with a DTEK monitoring app for its security system and an additional monthly Android security updates.
The device comes sporting dual SIM slot and 64 GB internal storage and will sell for CNY 3,699 which comes to about $575 or €470, same as the Black or Silver version.
