BlackBerry has taken their latest BB10 smartphone to the Philippines. The BlackBerry Z3 was launched at 10,990 Philippines’ pesos and with the current exchange rate that’s about $250 in US dollars.
BlackBerry is be ready to battle out heavy competition in the Philippines phone industry that is mainly dominated by the likes of MyPhone, Cherry Mobile, Samsung, LG and Nokia a in respective order.
Just for the records, the BlackBerry Z3 comes with a 5-inch qHD display, an 5MP main camera with LED flash and a 1.1MP front-facing camera.
The Z3 further packs a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm-made CPU, 8GB of internal memory and 1.5GB of RAM on the inside. It runs on the all-new BlackBerry 10.2.1 mobile operating system.
The phone is powered by a 2500mAh Li-Ion battery which BlackBerry claims can last 384 hours on stand-by.
The BlackBerry Z3 is available in black color and will be soon be available in other developing economies like Nigeria and South Africa at the price of 40,000 naira.
