For the past few weeks, the Internet has been awash with stories and focus on Samsung’s next Tizen smartphone, the Samsung SM-Z130H — now identified as the Samsung Z1.
Thanks to latest pictures we laid out hands on, we now know what the Tizen OS-powered phone will look like. A couple of hands-on pictures of the Z1 was released from Russia and as you may already know, Samsung is also planning to launch the smartphone in India.
According to earlier leaks and reports, the Samsung Z1 sports a 4″ WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) touchscreen, 756MB of RAM, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and 4GB of likely expandable storage.
If these sources are to be believed then the phone will be equipped with a 3-megapixel camera and a VGA selfie unit, alongside a rear LED flash. The device will be powered by a 1500mAh battery unit.
As for launch date, the Samsung Z1 is expected to be unveiled in India on the 18th of next month (January 18) while a subsequent release in other markets like China and Russia is also in tow. The Samsung Z1/Samsung SM-Z130H may also be released in the United States following its approval by the Country’s Federal Communications Commission last month.
