Instant messaging apps have been known over time to be plagued with messages which users would have at one point or the other wished they had never sent. It was with this in mind that Blackberry introduced the retract message option on the chat platform.
However, WhatsApp which is the largest instant messaging platform has also integrated a feature which can now allow users take back their messages when sent in error.
The latest integration on WhatsApp is called the Delete For Everyone feature which seamlessly allows users to delete their messages which was sent in error. The delete feature is applicable to both private chats and group chats which means you can get to remove your unwanted outbursts or messages from virtually any chat screen.
The application update has been pushed to the iOS, Android and Windows phone as reported by WABetaInfo.
The feature is loaded on the latest version of the Instant Messaging application.
