A few days ago, we saw the second generation Galaxy Mega 2 undergo benchmark tests, and today, we got pictures of a packaging box for the upcoming device.
The packaging box confirmed what we saw from the benchmark incident and gave us even more details. Look closely if you care to see but if you don’t want to strain your eyes, here’s what’s written on the box.
- 6″ HD dispaly (720 x 1280 pixels)
- 1.5GB of RAM
- 16GB internal storage with microSD poert
- 8MP rear and 2.1MP front cameras
- Full HD video recording at 30fps
- 163.6 x 84.9 x 8.6 mm (Samsung phones are getting pretty slim these days)
- 2,800mAh battery
- Android 4.4 KitKat
With that being said, there are some mismatches in what this leak says and the GFXbench screenshot. The latter for example hinted a 1.8GB RAM while this one is pointing at just 1.5GB. Same goes for the 8MP camera which the benchmark said was 12MP.
However, the possibility of having two Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 variants isn’t ruled out completely as Samsung is no stranger to iterations. But then we’ll await the ‘real thing’ to arrive officially to see who’s saying the truth and who’s not.
