By the time next year’s CES comes to an end on February 2015, it’s going to be a bloody story of two captains in a ship in the United States Of America. As things are folding out, it looks like the “Apple of China” will release it’s upcoming flagship, the Xiaomi Mi5 in the land of the free where “the big Apple”, Apple, currently does it’s business.
Many past Xiaomi products show too much resemblance to Apple iPhones and this has caused the Cupertino outfit to call out Xiaomi as a copy cat. Apple head designer Jon Ive claimed that Xiaomi’s blatant copy of Apple products is no more flattery but pure stealing.
So, we’ve heard that the Xiaomi Mi5 will cost about $325 — that’s the average price of an Apple iPhone 6 on a two-year contract — and we’ve heard the Mi5 will pack some groundbreaking specs to it’s name.
Earlier reports suggest that the upcoming Mi flagship will package a 5.5-inch Quad HD display as well as 3GB of RAM paired with a Snapdragon 805 CPU.
With the way things are moving too swiftly for Xiaomi in countries such as China and India, Apple seems to have a lot to worry about regarding it’s market share but perhaps, its Samsung who will get the biggest blow when Xiaomi lands in the United States.
