Flipkart has confirmed that 50,000 units of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note will be available for users to purchase tomorrow (2nd December). Intending participants were also asked to start registering for the exercise which will commence on 2PM on Tuesday.
This is the first time Xiaomi is going to sell the Redmi Note phablet in India. During the flash sale, the device will be sold at the price of Rs 8,999 which is about $140 using the current exchange rates.
Spec-wise, the phone features a 5.5-inch 720 x 1280 pixels IPS touchscreen, 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP camera, 3100mAh battery and a 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone boots on Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
