Noida Police recently registered a certain case of cheating against owner of the Ringing Bells who offered to sell world’s cheapest handsets following a recent complaint that was filed by Kirit Somaiya a BJP leader.
The government authority police registered the said case under the Section 420 or known as cheating of the IPC and IT Act this was done last Tuesday. Mohit Goel owner of the Ringing Bells and its company Ashok Chaddha the president was named by FIR.
Recently the company offered a fanfare Smartphone, identified as Freedom 251 with a price tag of Rs. 251 and was claimed as the cheapest among all sold Smartphone in the mobile market.
Somaiya, as stated in his sworn complaint points out that it was nearly impossible to manufacture a device that is Rs. 251 and this means that the company clearly fooling the market.
Goel said in his statement that Freedom 251 Smartphone as what is presented to authorities and other agencies, explained at forums, the company were able to put a price to the product at a lower cost due to its innovative cross promotions in e-commerce and the company will complete its delivery by June 30of this year.
