After announcing the GPad G5, Gionee has gone ahead to quietly unveil another smartphone dubbed the CTRL V4s. The new smartphone succeeds the year-old Gionee CTRL V4, even though the Gionee CTRL V5 has been previously released earlier this year.
The Gionee CTRL V4s comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS touchscreen. The phone itself measures 131 x 65 x 7.8 mm though details about the weight are still nowhere to be found. The smartphone runs on Google’s Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.
The device comes with a 8MP camera — which can record 1080p videos — equipped with LED flash and some cool camera features like autofocus, Geo-tagging and face detection. Adorning the front of the device is a 2MP webcam for your selfie needs.
Under the hood, you’ll find a 1.3GHz dual-core CPU and 1GB of RAM, then there’s an 8GB in-built storage with a slot for microSD cards. The CTRL V4s is powered by a swappable 1800mAh Li-Ion battery.
