Coming after weeks of leaks which surfaced online hinting and indicating that Gionee is working towards releasing yet another smartphone, the tech company has officially pulled back the curtains on the Gionee M7 device.
The Gionee M7 made its debut coming into the market along with yet another device named the Gionee M7 Power.
Both smartphones were officially released in China today and are priced at 2,799 Yuan (roughly Rs. 27,500) for the Gionee M7 and 1,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 19,700) for the Gionee M7 Power.
For specs, the Gionee M7 comes in Black, Sapphire Blue, Star Blue and Maple Red color variants while the M7 Power comes in Black, Blue and Gold color variants.
The Gionee M7 comes packing a 6.01-inch full HD display along with support for FullView AMOLED display and a screen resolution pegged at 2,160 x 1,080 pixels.
Under the hood, the M7 runs on the octa-core MediaTek Helio P30 processor paired with Mali-G71 GPU for graphics and 6GB of RAM coupled with 64GB of internal storage space which can further be expandable up to 256GB using microSD card.
For the optics, Gionee M7 comes packing a dual rear camera sensor of 16MP + 8MP on the back panel and on the front panel an 8MP sensor all powered by a 4,000mAH battery and a fingerprint scanner for added security.
