Google has finally brought the affordable Ice 2 smartpone into the Nigerian market coming months after the smartphone was originally proposed.
The Ice 2 Freetel which is borne of a partnership between Google and a Japanese tech company TD Mobile has launched in the country and will sell for N13,000.
The smartphone at its launch was Google GMS certified meaning it meets the standards of the tech company.
For specs, the Ice 2 Freetel comes preloaded with World reader’s free e-library of 50,000 e-books. Under its 5.5-inch display is the 1GB RAM configuration paired with 8GB of RAM.
The 3G enabled smartphone comes packing support for Dual SIM functionality and for the optics, it is loaded with 5MP camera on the back panel while the front panel hosts a 2MP sensor.
Driving the device is the quad-core MediaTek MT680 processor.
The Ice 2 Freetel will be available on major e-commerce websites in the country.
