After we told you about Google working with MediaTek to make the Nexus smartphone, we found out the Android owners are opting out of their partnership with Asus and heading to HTC for the next Nexus tablet.
Reports say Google and HTC have got their hands dirty on an 8-inch tablet which will see daylight during the third quarter of this year.
HTC, known as a premium maker of Android smartphones, has no tablet to it’s name. Google has seen this opportunity to pounce on the tablet front.
However, HTC are not known to make super cheap products, even as that is what Nexus is all about. But we’ll keep our fingers crossed and see how everything pans out.
