HDM Global in partnership with Nokia has revealed plans to unveil the Nokia 2 device which was spotted online just weeks ago.
Ahead of the official launch of the premium range Nokia 9, the tech company has revealed that it is also testing the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the mid-range and pocket friendly Nokia 2 device.
The tech company which looks to be planning a separate launch for the Nokia 2, an entry-level smartphone, is expected to launch the device before the year runs out.
According to a recent report by Nokiamob, the launch of the mid-range device shouldn’t be far from now.
Two unknown Nokia smartphones were also reported to have come up on the Chinese Certification website, CCC. The devices according to report bear the model names TA-1041 and TA-1042 and were tipped to come equipped with the Quick Charge feature which was also loaded on the Nokia 8 device.
Both smartphones have however been tipped to be possible variants of the Nokia 8 device which might soon be released into the Chinese market.
A recent render however suggested that the Nokia 2 may be launched come October 5 which is just a day after the launch of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
