HMD has been revealed to be on a path to regarding some of the older versions of the Nokia phones coming after the tech partnership provided the market with a rebooted Nokia 3310 some months ago with the 4G version rumoured to be in the works.
The tech company in its latest strive has reportedly trademarked the premium Sirocco line.
The Nokia 8 with the model number TA-1005 was just trademarked as Nokia 8 Sirocco and will come into the market with a logo bearing the inscription which was earlier leaked.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco will come as a throwback to the old Nokia 8800 Sirocco whose name was derived from the Mediterranean wind coming from the Sahara.
The Sirocco model will come with some changes such as the sapphire glass, molded steel panels and a leather case.
Other specs include the LG produced OLED Displays which had earlier been rumored to be coming on the Nokia 9 along with a dual selfie camera on the front panel.
The device will come running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with the main camera comprising a pair of 12MP + 13MP sensors and a battery capacity pegged at 3,250mAh.
