Barely a week after releasing the duo of the HTC One (M8 Eye) and HTC Desire Eye, the Taiwanese-based OEM has got their hands dirty, again. This time, the story is about a smartphone called the HTC Desire 820 mini that has been spotted HTC’s official e-commerce site before being hastily hacked down.
It seems the phone isn’t yet ready to be met with public eyes and that’s why HTC had to quickly pull it from their website, but before then, we managed to get a snapshot of the smartphone.
On a different listing on China’s TEENA, the same smartphone was listed as HTC 820mu with a 5″ 720p display, 8MP camera, 5MP front-facer, quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz speed, 8GB of RAM and Android 4.4.4 KitKat. TEENA says the phone measures 150.1 x 72.7 x 9.6mm and tips the scale at 162 grams.
It’s not clear when the HTC Desire 820 mini will finally debut but the price was listed as CNY 1399 or $230 on the HTC website. We will be delighted to give you more gist on the device if you stay tuned.
