HTC Google Nexus 9 to come with 5GB of RAM?

When a yet-be-announced device is outed in it’s full glory, we have the right to believe what we hear about the device especially if the information is from the same source.

The HTC Nexus 9 or the HTC Volantis is a tablet we have seen on several occasions. The device is a result of a pact between Google and HTC to make a formidable cheap tab for the Google Nexus line.

However, a report fro popular leakstar @evleaks states that the leaks and renders we’ve been seeing are all fake. @evleaks now claims to have the real thing.

According to the report, the HTC Volantis will have an 8.9 inch display with 2560 x 1600 pixels high res.

The tablet is said to be sporting BoomSound stereo speakers and 5MP camera on it’s face. An 8MP rear camera lies on the back of the device’s aluminum unibody, @evleaks claims.

The processor on the Volantis will be either a Nvidia Tegra K1 or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, thought the former is highly likely to be used for the final build of the device.

A picture posted by @evleaks shows the back of the device as engraved with “Flounder”, which the report claims to be the codename for the product.

The HTC Volantis is said to be having a 2014 Quater 4 release date, so that’s at least 3 months from now
