At a median score of 41,736 the Nvidia Tegra K1 is currently the top System-on chip for mobile devices according to AnTuTu benchmark. The rated second is Samsung’s Exynos 5433 processor followed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 and 801.
However, Google wants nothing but the best this time around. Power was the keyword as the tech giant was said to have ordered HTC to produce the next Nexus tablet with the Tegra K1 processor.
A snapshot from hardware app CPU-Z shows the HTC Nexus 9 rocking a 64-bit variant of the Tegra K1 processor at 2.5GHz. The app didn’t show any other details about the tablet but we overheard the device is having a 1440 x 2048 pixel 8.9-inch display, an 8MP/2MP camera setup and will boot Android L.
