Huawei Ascend D3 pictured looking like a clone of the HTC One Max

Well, annoyed HTC fans will probably yell out in anger. But then there’s nothing you can do. This is China and you can’t sue manufacturers for copying your products.

The allegedly leaked picture of an unreleased Huawei Ascend D3 smartphone spits something in it’s looks; the HTC One Max.

Huawei is a reputable Chinese company that has distanced itself from the cloners in the past but this new development has got us reeling with surprise.

The back of the Ascend D3 (pictured above) even has the set up of the One Max, and a fingerprint sensorĀ  is also positioned at the back of the phone (exactly like in the One Max).

The Huawei Ascend D3 is alleged to be having a 5-inch Full HD screen (most new Hauwei phones have this particular screen setup). The device is also expected to be coming with Huawei’s hybrid LTE-capable octa-core Kirin 920 chipset.

The Ascend D3 was previously reported as having a June 2014 release date but Huawei was said to have rescheduled the date. The phone will have a $469 price tag, the same source revealed.
