Huawei Now moves Into Mobile Payments

With vendors venturing to one of the exciting spaces in financial payments service, now it has the questions like who will cater the huge market for payment providers.

For this time, the giant Chinese phone manufacturer Huawei is now accelerating its mobile payments ambition this 2016 with its announcements made in this year’s first quarter.

The first announcement was the company’s agreement with China bank to jointly develop the other giant company claiming as the next mobile payment system under Huawei’s Pay label.

Pay label is not Huawei’s first mobile payment. In the past, Huawei’s Pay debuted in China with company’s flagship Smartphone Mate S last 2015 of December 2015 following test run on the mobile system in September 2015. The company will be using NFC technology, placing Mate S close to China UnionPay with Quick Pass function that will launch Huawei Pay service.

The payment transaction will be completed by the use of fingerprint authentication. Most Smartphone’s are now equipped with their fingerprint sensors and NFC chip can be download by Huawei’s Pay app.
