Chinese smartphone maker, Huawei, might be working on two versions of its Huawei P8 (no more Huawei Ascend P8) flagship. One version is naturally the Huawei P8 while the other variant will supposedly be called Huawei P8 Lite.
There’s little evidence to back this up as a fact yet. Other than a tip by an insider at the Huawei camp that the lite handset will be released in April, we still don’t have any way to confirm this piece of info.
While the original Huawei P8 is expected to run a 5.2″ 1080p display, an octa-core Kirin 930, 13MP camera, 3GB of RAM and 2600mAh battery with a price tag of $480 (2,999 Chinese yuan), the Lite version could have 720p resolution, 2GB of RAM and a less superior processor. The price point will be a little bit south of course.
